In mid-August, Judy Farnell presented Healthy Relationships to 120 teachers and administrators of the Lower Kuskokwim School District at an in-service in Bethel, Alaska. (At a junior high school in Bethel early this year, a 16-year old male student shot and killed both another student and the Principal. Since then the district has intensified violence-prevention efforts.) Judy has been teaching the Healthy Relationships curriculum for more than three years in both junior high Health and English classes, and as a guidance counselor. She currently works at Cavalier Drive School in Sackville, Nova Scotia.
